Cross chat relays in-game chat: from each map to a Discord channel, from one map to another, and even from Discord into the game. Usually that takes a plugin. Our bot only uses RCON, which every ARK server already has, so it also works on Nitrado and on console.
What it does
- Maps → Discord: messages from all your maps land in the channel of your choice, with the map name (and its cluster).
- Maps ↔ maps: a player on The Island talks to players on Ragnarok. Your choice: all maps together, only maps of the same cluster, or none.
- Discord → game (optional): your community replies from Discord and the message shows up in game.
Built to last
- Fast reading when people are chatting, calmer when the server is quiet: your server is never overloaded.
- No emojis sent in game (ARK’s chat displays them badly), @ mentions disabled on Discord.
- Messages are relayed, never stored.
How to enable it
- Add your maps in your server’s “Maps” tab (IP address, RCON port, admin password).
- In “Discord bot”, open the Cross chat step: tick it, pick the channel and the scope.
- That’s it: the first messages arrive within seconds.
